The BMW X2 M Mesh Edition lends the vehicle an even more striking appearance with a multitude of selected design features. Distinctive details such as the Kidney Grille in a Mesh design, the Aerodynamic Alloy wheels, M seats, Door Sills in the front with exclusive ‘Edition’ designation and Dark Mocha exterior design elements contribute to the individual character.
Under the bonnet, the X2 M Mesh Edition offers seven engine variants, including a plug-in hybrid. In this guise, the X2 weds a 94bhp electric motor to a 1.5-litre petrol engine generating 123bhp.
A combined output of 217bhp is delivered to the front wheels via a six-speed Steptronic transmission, allowing the M Mesh Edition to sprint from 0-62mph in 6.8sec and on to a top speed of 121mph.
In electric-only mode, this is reduced to 83mph. The X2’s 10kWh battery offers an all-electric range of up to 35 miles, according to BMW.It has the superb performance of the M Sport X model, but with an extra layer of exclusive design and comfort elements. From the outside you’ll instantly notice new bold Frozen black/brown cladding, which is paired with a new exclusive paint finish of Brooklyn Grey (exclusive to the M Mesh Edition) while also available in Phytonic Blue, Sunset Orange, and Sapphire Black. Upon entry you are greeted by a door entry sill featuring an ‘Edition’ inlay, and track-inspired M seats with integrated headrests.
